Accessibility Statement

Last updated: June 12, 2026

Diamond Planner is committed to making our app accessible to everyone, including people with visual, motor, and cognitive disabilities. We believe that planning your team's lineup should be possible for every coach, regardless of how they use their device.

Standards We Follow

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we follow Apple's iOS accessibility guidelines for the Diamond Planner mobile app.

What We Support

  • VoiceOver. All interactive controls have accessibility labels, modal sheets trap focus correctly and announce themselves as dialogs, and key screens — including the batting order reorder flow and the fielding tab — are fully navigable with the screen reader.
  • Voice Control. Voice Control can activate buttons, tabs, and form fields throughout the app using the same accessibility labels as VoiceOver.
  • Larger Text. The app scales to the iOS XXL accessibility text size (200%+). Layouts flex to accommodate larger text, and no text clips or overflows.
  • Dark Mode. The app has a full dark-mode color scheme that follows the system appearance setting throughout every screen.
  • Differentiate Without Color. All active and selected states are communicated with a non-color indicator — an icon, border, or text weight change — in addition to any color change.
  • Sufficient Contrast. Text throughout the app meets the WCAG AA contrast ratio of 4.5:1. Placeholder and muted text colors meet this threshold — placeholder text achieves approximately 6:1 contrast on light backgrounds.
  • Reduced Motion. When the system Reduce Motion setting is on, animations are suppressed — including the bottom sheet slide, the drag ghost floating effect, and the scale animation on drag.
